During the 54th edition of the Paris Air Show, Future Mobility Campus Ireland (FMCI) took the lead alongside key partners, including Collins Aerospace, The Shannon Airport Group and Avtrain to present ÉALÚ-AER project. This project stands as one of the first European Digital Sky Demonstrators, with a specific focus on U-space and Urban Air Mobility (UAM), aligning with the European ATM Master Plan defined by the SESAR Joint Undertaking (JU).
Digital Sky Demonstrators, such as ÉALÚ-AER, are high-level Technology Readiness Level (TRL 7-8) projects that are funded in collaboration with the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA) under the Connected Europe Facility (CEF) funding instrument.
Paris Air Show was an opportunity for FMCI to promote its expertise and work that include ÉALÚ-AER project with international stakeholders. FMCI also joined the Irish pavilion by Enterprise Ireland that hosting 5 Irish companies that are revolutionising the sector: Avtrain, Atlantic Aviation Group, The Shannon Airport Group, Plasma Bound, and Emerald Aero.
